Project Scope: This project is a study of the Layer 2 loop prevention protocol spanning tree using packet analyzers. Various types of vulnerabilities are studied along with attack demonstration in different environments and associated mitigation mechanism in various products. The project also provides guidelines on how to setup a lab environment for practical demonstration of the attacks
