Project Scope

The project is to research and understand the different types of protocols and applications which are available for remote desktop connection on the LAN and the WAN.

Hardware and Software requirements

Two computers (1 Linux, 1 windows.) or Virtual machines
Switch ( Not required, if virtual machines are used)

How to implement the project

Research on different types of applications and protocols like RDP, VNC etc. Understand how they communicate and their associated different components. Identify remote desktop connection software which are used as a service like logmein, teamviewer etc. Demonstrate the associated functionalities.
