Project Scope

The project is to simulate a scenario where main and branch office users should have access to each other using a IPSEC VPN tunnel.The actual configuration required on Cisco router is to be documented.

Hardware and Software

Hardware – Cisco IOS Firewall routers ( 2nos), DTE-DCE Cable ( 1nos), Switches ( 2nos), PC ( 2nos)
Software – Cisco Packet Tracer ( If the above equipments are not available )

How to implement the project

Connect the routers using the DTE-DCE Cable. Connect the LAN interfaces on the router to the respective switches. The PC’s should be connected to the switches with appropriate IP addresses. Configure IPSEC tunnel parameters on both the routers. Ensure that the PC’s are able to access each other
