Project Scope:

The project is to deploy and configure multiple websites on one PC with a single IP address.

Hardware and Software requirements

Hardware – Windows 2003/2008 PC ( 1nos), Windows or Linux PC (1 nos), switch

How to implement the project

Setup a network with the switch and the two PC’s. Configure appropriate IP addresses on the PC’s. Ensure that the PC’s are reachable. Setup IIS and DNS servers on the Windows 2003/2008 PC. Create two simple websites and host them on IIS (follow the appropriate guideline on Microsoft website or buy the video tutorial or virtual seminar). Ensure that the domain name of the websites are added in the DNS server. Configure appropriate DNS server IP address on the client PC. Test the deployment.
