Deploy and configure multiple DHCP scopes for different VLANS on Windows 2008

Topology Description

PC1 and PC2 are connected to ports on the switch which are members of VLAN 2 and VLAN 3. The VLAN 2 network address is 192.168.2.0/24 and VLAN 3 network address is 192.168.1.0/24.

The DHCP Server is on VLAN 3 and is configured with multiple DHCP scopes for the networks 192.168.1.0/24 and 192.168.2.0/24 for providing IP addresses for the clients belonging to the respective VLAN’s (PC1 and PC2). After the configuration is performed, PC1 would receive IP address from the DHCP server from the scope 192.168.2.0 and PC2 would receive IP address from the scope 192.168.1.0.
