Project Scope:

The project is to setup, deploy and configure a FTP server on Windows XP platform with necessary user permissions and provide access to FTP clients.

Hardware and Software requirements:

Hardware – Windows XP PC ( 2 NOS), Switch, Cables

How to implement the project

Connect both the PC’s to the switch. Configure appropriate IP addresses for the respective PC’s. Install and configure FTP server on Windows XP. This can be performed with add/remove programs tab. Test connectivity to the server from the client PC. Check file upload and download
