How to implement the project

Start wireshark on the PC. Open the web browser and connect to a http based website. Analyze the packets which are received from the website. Analyze the TCP ports numbers used and if the data is viewable in clear or encrypted text. Once the activity is completed, authenticate to a https website like www.yahoo.com, www.hotmail.com and provide your username and password for authentication. Analyze the port numbers, connection flows, different protocols as compared with http, data in encrypted or clear text format.Prepare the report based on the inputs.
