Title: LAN Authentication with Mac-address

Abstract

On a network, two computers are connected to a Cisco 2950 switch. PC1 is connected to port 2 and PC3 connected to port 3. The switch should authenticate PC1 on it’s port 2 based on the mac-address of PC1. If any other mac-address (PC) is detected on the port, the switch should automatically shut down the port. The necessary configuration on the switch is identified.
